Ministries

The people involved in our ministries are ready to help you grow personally and enjoy the opportunities to celebrate together with your peers and family. Some people come because they enjoy the teaching and worship; others because they make new friends.

MIME MINISTRY

The purpose of the Mime Ministry is to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ in a unique and powerful way. Through visualization, song and movements, it is a way to express God’s word. The Mime Ministry rehearses as a single group and sometimes in conjunction with the Dance Ministry.

As I Am Dance Ministry

As I Am uses dance and movement to interconnect the word of the Bible through song. As praise dancers, we are committed to magnifing the name of the Lord through dance.

HEART TO HEART MINISTRY
The mission of the Marriage Ministry of Turner is for couples to grow together spiritually and emotionally becoming the couple that God intended. The use of devoted time for couples to have prayer and fellowship with other couples will foster healthy communication and closer relationships.  Opportunities for learning and discussion will include several issues such as skills for problem solving, developing intimacy and even coping with financial difficulties. Building strong and healthy marriages will create a stronger and healthier church and community.

Married life can be quite challenging for different couple for many different reasons therefore there will be an assortment of guest speakers and activities that will take place. Couple’s ministry may not be a substitute for counseling but it is our prayer that it will be preventative.
